The plot:
On their way back home during the spring break, Darry (Long) and Patricia (Philips) Jenner witness a mysterious person dumping something down a tunnel. Deciding to discover what was dumped down there, Darry discovers a huge disturbing hideout full of modified bodies. Darry and Patricia set off to get help, unaware that the individual is now aware of who has been down the tunnel. Darry and Patricia soon realises that their pursuer is not just a mysterious person, but something even more horrifying, who has more in store than they could possibly imagine.

Personally this movie is one of my favs – I especially like Gina Phillips and Justin Long as the brother and sister in this movie. The second one was even better in my opinion.
My favorite part in the film is when Darry falls into the tube at the old church and finds the monster’s underground lair. Too bad this also happens to be the worst plot point of the whole movie – if you just saw a man throw two things down an old sewer pipe that you were pretty sure were bodies – would you go down there? NO WAY! Oh well, I guess it is dumb crap like that that makes us want to watch these films – just so we can yell at the screen and say things like, “Don’t go down there you moron.” Still a lot better movie than most horror movies.
My positives: Decent plot, great acting for a horror movie
My negs: Not enough nudity 
Anyway I’d give this one an 8.5 out of 10 – how about you Toby?

I liked the plot also for a scary movie. There were definitely a few scary parts in that movie. For example when Darry and Patricia first come in contact with the mysterious person. The first time that you see it you’ll jump out of your seat. I bet you know what I’m talking about Mark.
I TOTALLY agree with the point on how STUPID it was for Darry to go down in an old sewer pipe after he saw the guy drop something down the pipe. You go to the nearest town and call the police and don’t try to be a hero. That happens in all scary movies. There is usually one moron in each movie who thinks he is smart in helping or just trying to be a hero and ends getting himself killed.
It would have nice to see Patricia Jenner in the nude don’t you think Mark? The only person that you see is a dead woman down in the old pipe.
I’d would give this one a 7.5 out of 10 stars.
Patricia Jenner would be on my short list. She’s amazing and a really good actress as well. I’ve seen her in a couple of other films and she is always good. All of the Jeepers Creepers movies were pretty good, although I’ve only seen this one and number II. I will have to do some research and see how many have now been released. Generally after the second movie they release straight to DVD and I can’t always keep up on them. – From Wikipedia:

The film will continue the story of the original film with Trish (Gina Philips) as she fears her son will have the same fate as her long lost brother Darry (Justin Long), the boy’s namesake. So it looks like there will be at least a 3rd installment of this series and perhaps a fourth that I read. Very good – maybe they’ll both be good enough to be released in theaters! I hope so.
